This ornamental shrub sits in my neighbor’s berm and usually looks unremarkable. However this spring the shrub was blooming in all its glory.

I’m enjoying those blooms all around us at the moment and eke wishing I had my camera with me.
Sometimes our eyes capture pictures even when we don’t have a camera. I hope and wish this is true for you today.
Have a nice day!
We have several of those in our front yard. They have beautiful blooms! But, there is a downside to those buggers! The leaves come to a very hard, sharp point. I have the puncture wounds to prove it LOL. One was planted right by the outside power plug and getting to it is life threatening. Beautiful photo here, well done!
They do look gorgeous! I never had to get close to them so I have been spared of the puncture wounds. 🙂 Thanks for your compliments and Thank you for stopping by.
Great shots of yucca blooms!
I have a point and shoot camera. It means a lot to me, to get a compliment from such an accomplished photographer as yourself. Thanks Milka!
Very pretty!
Thanks! The aura from the yucca shrub covered the entire berm and I could not ignore their invitation calling me to click them. I checked with my neighbor and he laughed saying: “For you today we have a Special Offer, taking photographs of the yucca shrub is free”. LOL.
I like both of the photos. Very nice 🙂
Thanks Annie!
they’re so pretty. we had one but it was by the air conditioner and didn’t make it. need to get another one for next year.
I thought Yucca shrubs were only grown outdoors. I learned something new after I read your comment. Thanks for sharing.
This brings back memories, my sister-in-law used to have these in front of her house. My mom got stuck by one of them, but they are beautiful in bloom.
One of the bloggers commented she got puncture wounds from the pointed leaves. Oh, to be stuck in the Yucca shrubs. Hope your mom didn’t get hurt.
I agree, they were simply beautiful in bloom!
